This is a basic idea of rules for a Gorean Home on Mirc, though each home is different and you should always ask to read the rules when entering a home, this should help however to give you an idea.
Behavior in this room will be patterned as closely as practical on The Chronicles of Counter Earth (Gor) by John Norman, also known to Goreans as "the scrolls".

If you don't know how to behave, Free or slave, mark your nick with an -obs at the end  and feel free to respectfully ask questions.  You will find many people here who will help you.  Newcomers are welcome and W/we won't bite your head off if you have manners. Persistently rude and obnoxious persons, Free or slave, will be kicked.

Slaves must perform obeisance (kneel with cheek or forehead to floor, arms stretched forward, fingers splayed) and beg entry when Free are present.  (Some on IRC call this "karta".)  The only exception is the slave who enters at the same time as her/his Owner.

E/everyone should greet upon entry.  Slaves, If a Freeperson grants you entry, thank and greet them first.  After that, greet male Ops, female Ops, male guests, and female guests IN THAT ORDER.  If you are not sure if They are male or female, check /whois .  If you guess, guess MASTER. Greet slaves last.
If your Owner is not present when you enter, AND if your Owner is a channel AOP, you may go to His/Her personal furs when not serving.  Other unsupervised slaves will go to the serving furs.

Slaves need not beg to speak, greet or approach the Free. Unless a slave is occupied with serving his/her Owner, they will see that all Free have been offered service before they participate in chat. However, slaves never touch or pm a Free Person without permission, except an Op on valid channel business.

Offer service IN THIS ORDER: male guests, female guests, male Ops, female Ops.  If you are not sure whom to approach, ask another slave in pm.  If no other slave is available to help, you may pm an Op without permission.

Once they approach and offer service, slaves may not greet, speak or respond to anyone else until they have been released from the serve, or given permission to speak and greet.

Free persons will not harass, stalk, or strike subs/slaves they do not own. You are free to correct and instruct, but pick one or two things, correct them, and go on.

FreeWomen will kneel, behave and dress modestly and show respect for FreeMen.  If You act like a slave, You will be treated like one.  You do risk being facestripped, collared and/or chained, and Your Homestone and/or Partner will be notified if You forget how to behave.

Free and slave alike are asked to please keep personal dislikes and petty arguments PRIVATE.   If that is impossible, pm an Op.  OPS HAVE FINAL SAY.
